The Brant Community Healthcare System is pleased to celebrate Medical Laboratory Week, April 10 – April 16, 2022. At BCHS, over 2.25 million lab tests are completed each year. Behind every lab result is our medical laboratory staff who provide vital information to help physicians detect, diagnose and treat patients.
During the two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, many health care workers have had to be reassigned in order to alleviate the impact that COVID-19 was having on patients, staff and physicians.
This common brain disorder affects 1 in 100 Canadians and can begin at any time during a person’s life. For Zach Dawson, his epilepsy journey began at the age of 23.
Clinical externships offer hands-on learning experiences that complement and expand on clinical placements during nursing school. We're thrilled to welcome 18 externs - all currently in the last years of their nursing degree or diploma - onsite every day to support our nurses in care!

Effective March 12, 2022 the Brantford COVID-19 Clinical Assessment Centre will move to its new location at The Willett Urgent Care Centre in Paris (238 Grand River Street North).
