In response to our growing community and regional demands, we are pleased to share that the Critical Care program at the Brant Community Healthcare System has officially expanded!

MPP, Brantford-Brant Will Bouma announced a $7.18 million Provincial Government investment to support urgent facility upgrades and repairs at BCHS. Of that, $5.2 million has been earmarked for the unexpected costs associated with the service tunnel failure.

After growing up in Whitby, Dr. Nida Khawaja received her medical training in Dominica, Mississippi, and Buffalo. Now, she has returned home as a member of the Department Mental Health and Addictions at BCHS.

Inspired by her English teacher, Brianna Lawrence was motivated to reach her full potential and applied to become a student volunteer at the Brant Community Healthcare System. She completed the registration and the orientation training and began last summer.
