Service Animals
The Brant Community Healthcare System, including the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation, is committed to welcoming people with disabilities who are accompanied by a service animal on the parts of its premises that are open to the public and other third parties. When a service animal accompanies a patient, visitor, employee or medical staff member, the animal is granted access into all areas of the hospital permitted to others except those areas that require special precautions/attire (e.g. personal protective equipment) and alternatives are not available (e.g. OR). All reasonable efforts are to be made to accommodate the patient with a service animal.
