It's important to be able to recognize the signs of stroke and act quickly to get you or your loved on to the emergency department.

Oct. 29 is World Stroke Day. Promoting learning the signs of stroke, or FAST, are: Elke Hilgendag (left),clinical manager of the stroke program at the Brant County Healthcare System; Dr. Angela Fleming, a radiologist, and Danielle Swart, physician assistant in the emergency department.
