Meet Janice & Alex: Survivors and Advocates

Janice and Alex Kucharew are both survivors and advocates.

Alex is in remission for Stage 4 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and Janice combatted breast cancer.

The experiences that Janice and Alex have had to endure have made them stronger and willing to become Patient and Family Advisors (PFAs).

“We share our patient and family experiences with nurses and physicians so improvements can be made. We have the opportunity to bring the voice of patients and their families to the hospital caregivers" says Janice.
