Volunteering in memory of her mother

Janice Caron knows she belongs at the Brantford General Hospital. In the eleven years since becoming a volunteer, Janice has contributed over 3,700 hours helping wherever she is needed at the hospital.

“For the most part I have been a volunteer greeting patients and visitors at the information desk. I like to help and relax everyone as they find their way throughout the hospital. Volunteering is not like work at all, I like what I do."

Janice continues to volunteer in memory of her mother who was hospitalized at BGH many years ago due to cancer.
