Ophatlmology nurse looks back at long career
For many years, the ophthalmology surgery program at the Brantford General Hospital has enjoyed a reputation as a centre of excellence.
Sandy Cassada, a registered practical nurse, transferred to the department 25 years ago. “I love the process. We are a team that works very well together. Everyone chips in and does whatever it takes.”
Before COVID-19, BCHS completed almost 2,500 cataract surgeries each year.
