Hospital president tackles healthcare challenges

In March of this year, Bonnie Camm joined the Brant Community Healthcare System (Brantford General Hospital and Willett Hospital in Paris) as President & CEO.

“It has been a remarkably busy couple of months meeting with so many people. And at the same time, urgent issues including a sink hole at the BGH main entrance and having to install temporary boilers on top the parking garage have arisen that are not lost on me,” Camm said.

Similar to all hospitals throughout Ontario, emergency departments continue to experience significant pressures.

Bonnie and the BCHS Senior Leadership Team also continue work towards the redevelopment of our two hospitals, meeting with Infrastructure Ontario and the Capital Branch of The Ministry of Health.

“Together we will navigate the challenges to ensure a healthier future for all of us.”
