BGH Emergency Department Project Reaches Milestones

In the past few months, many milestones of the emergency department renovation project have been reached. These include the recent reopening of Terrace Hill Street to the public, the opening of a new emergency department walk-in entrance, and a new external entrance for dialysis clinic patients.

“It has been a long journey for everybody including our patients and families.” says Dr. Somaiah Ahmed, Chief and Medical Director of Emergency Medicine at BCHS.

When complete, the emergency department renovation improvement project will provide efficiency and enhance care for patients and their families.
