BCHS recognized for organ donor program

The month of April is BeADonor Month, intended to increase the awareness of organ donation among Ontarians.

As part of the recognition of the ongoing emphasis placed on organ donation, the Brant Community Healthcare System was awarded a provincial award for exceeding the provincial eligible target rate set by The Trillium Gift of Life.

“We scored 93 per cent which demonstrates the leading practices we have in place to facilitate organ donation discussions with end-of-life patients and their families,” Rozenberg said.
