BCHS program recognizes employment milestones

Each year, the Brant Community Healthcare System recognizes employees and medical staff who reach specific milestones of employment with the Brantford General and Willett hospitals. This year, 180 people have reached employment milestones, beginning at five years and increasing in five-year intervals.

One employee who has been with BGH for 36 years this month is Liz Almeida, a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit.

Almeida said she works with a “great group of staff and amazing team of pediatricians. I am so proud of every one of them and the dedication and compassion they have for our patients. Our staff do their best to give their best.”
