Collect blood in plain red top tube. Avoid hemolysis. Allow blood to clot at room temperature for 30 minutes and separate by centrifugation. Transfer an aliquot of serum to a labelled AMBER tube, cap tightly and FREEZE at - 20 degrees C.

Protect from light.  

Storage and Transport

Store and send frozen.
