NORFOLK GENERAL HOSPITAL DO NOT send to BGH - Send directly to testing site (McMaster or Sick kids , your choice)

Storage and Transport

 Do not centrifuge. A minimum of 1.0 mL whole blood is required for neonates.

Sample should be received by the reference lab within 48 hours of collection.

Collect the specimen as late in the day as possible.

Do not collect blood on Fridays or prior to a public holiday.

A completed Genomic SNP Microarray requisition must accompany the sample and can be downloaded using the link
