Complete Blood Count Alethia Malaria DNA Screen Morphological examination of stained thick and thin film preparations, speciation and calculation of parasitemia level (%) only if Alethia DNA Malaria screen is positive. Smears (if needed) should be prepared immediately within 1 hour of specimen collection. If patient has had a positive Alethia DNA Malaria screen within 14 days, repeat DNA screen testing is not indicated. Parasitemia levels (%) only will be reported. |
