A change in color indicates the presence of H. pylori.

A reading is performed at 3 hours and again at 18 hours after incubation has began.

Storage and Transport

The media should be maintained at room temperature until transport to the lab.

Once in the lab the specimen will be stored at room temperature in the microbiology rack.
