Bonnie Camm | President & Chief Executive Officer
Bonnie currently serves as the President & CEO of Brant Community Healthcare System. Previously, she held positions including Chief Operating Officer & Executive Vice President, Clinical Services at Grand River Hospital, and Associate Vice President of Clinical Services and Peel Memorial Centre Site Executive at William Osler Health System.
Bonnie brings over 20 years of executive leadership experience in healthcare and financial services. Her expertise spans clinical leadership, project management, process improvement, data analytics, risk management, and finance. Committed to continuous quality improvement, she is passionate about empowering and engaging teams to enhance patient experience and maximize value within the healthcare system.
Bonnie holds a Master of Business Administration degree in finance and strategy from the Schulich School of Business, a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy, and an Honours Arts Degree in Physical Education from the University of Western Ontario, and is a member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders. Additionally, Bonnie is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and has earned an Executive Leadership Certificate from the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management.

Dr. Andrew Burkett | Chief of Staff, Vice President Medical and Academic Affairs and Chief & Medical Director, Internal Medicine
Dr. Andrew Burkett began his term as Chief and Medical Director of Internal Medicine at BCHS in October 2023 and Chief of Staff, Vice President Medical and Academic Affairs in February 2025.
Dr. Burkett is a respirologist and previously the Director of Interventional Pulmonology in Kitchener-Waterloo. In his most recent role, he worked as the Medical Director of Quality, Risk, and Patient Experience for Grand River Hospital, ensuring quality of care while building a culture of continuous quality improvement. He continues to serve on the Thoracic Advisory Committee for Ontario Health-Cancer Care Ontario, with a focus on centralized intake for lung cancer.
In his clinical work, he predominantly focuses on pleural disease, lung cancer diagnosis, and cancer related dyspnea. He completed his Internal Medicine, Respirology, Interventional and Epidemiology training at the University of Ottawa, and investigated the association between malignant pleural effusions and venous thromboembolism as a Clinical Scholar in Epidemiology.
He is originally from Kitchener-Waterloo and, prior to his career in medicine, graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in computer science, working as a computer programmer and data scientist.

Stuart Paavola | Vice President, Clinical Services & Chief Nurse Executive
Stuart Paavola joined the Brant Community Healthcare System in October of 2024 and currently serves as Vice President of Clinical Services and Chief Nurse Executive. Previously, he served as the Director of the Emergency, Medicine and Regional Stroke Programs at Grand River Hospital and held various leadership positions across post-acute care, acute care, and emergency services at Hamilton Health Sciences, where he began his career as a Registered Nurse in 2007.
With over 15 years of healthcare experience in community and large teaching hospitals, Stuart brings expertise in clinical operations, patient access and flow, building high-performing teams, and driving continuous quality improvement.
Stuart holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Laurentian University, a Master of Science in Nursing from York University, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. He is also a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Erin Sleeth | Vice President, People, Culture & Corporate Infrastructure
Erin Sleeth is currently the Brant Community Healthcare System's Vice President People, Culture & Corporate Infrastructure. During her 25 years in healthcare, specifically at the BCHS, Erin has held a variety of roles in Human Resources. She has been a leader for over 12 years and for the past 4 years has held an executive role. Erin has also led many large scale organizational wide change initiatives in an informal leadership role over the course of her tenure.
Erin is currently the executive lead for cultural transformation, staff engagement and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. She also co-chairs the Regional HR committee and is the HR rep for the Regional Systems Capacity Committee.
Erin is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL). She holds an honours degree in Health Sciences from the University of Western Ontario, a post graduate diploma in HR Management from Humber College, and is a graduate from Queen’s University Industrial Relations Centre. She has also earned her MA in Leadership from the University of Guelph.

Alena Lukich | Vice President, Strategy, Quality, Risk & Communications
Alena Lukich joined the Brant Community Healthcare System in January 2018. Since then, she has held a variety of positions with BCHS, and is currently in the Vice President, Strategy, Quality, Risk & Communications. Alena is passionate about driving quality improvement, and enhancing patient experience and care outcomes. She led the development of the 2020-2025 Hospital Strategic Plan, and is committed to the organizational mission of Working Together to Build a Healthier Community.
Alena holds an Honours Bachelor of Life Science degree and a Masters of Business Administration in Health Services Management from McMaster University. She is currently working towards a PhD in Health Management at McMaster University.

Chad DeBlock | Vice President, Data Analytics, Health Information Management & Chief Financial Officer
Chad DeBlock joined the Brant Community Healthcare System in July 2018. Since then, he has held a variety of leadership positions with BCHS, and is currently in the role of Chief Financial Officer. Chad is a strategic leader who creates tangible results by combining financial acumen with a passion for fostering positive change.
Chad holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University. Chad is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Certified General Accountant (CGA).

Robert Hofmann | Vice President, Redevelopment and Capital Projects
Robert Hofmann joined BCHS in August 2025. He brings extensive experience in healthcare infrastructure and capital development across Ontario. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Architectural Science – Design from Toronto Metropolitan University and has a deep understanding of Infrastructure Ontario’s P3 model and the capital project approval processes required by Ontario Ministries. Robert brings decades of experience delivering complex healthcare capital projects across Ontario, including with Sunnybrook and Hamilton Health Sciences. Most recently, Robert served as Director of Redevelopment Projects at Hamilton Health Sciences, where he led major initiatives including the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital and the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre Redevelopment. His career spans a range of leadership and advisory roles at healthcare organizations across the province, where he has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence in planning, design, and execution.
