Lab Process Notes :  

A change in color indicates the presence of H. pylori.

A reading is performed at 3 hours and again at 18 hours after incubation has began.

Storage & Transport:  

The media should be maintained at room temperature until transport to the lab. Once in the lab the specimen will be stored at room temperature in the microbiology rack.
