Temporary Part-Time MRI Technologist

Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, you will be responsible for performing quality diagnostic MRI procedures in accordance with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists and Brant Community Healthcare Systems MRI guidelines and procedures. This is a one year contract position.
Education Requirements
- C.A.M.R.T. (or equivalent) trained Medical Radiation Technologist required
- Completion of MRI Certificate Exam or intent is required
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologist of Ontario is required
- Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologist is an asset
- Contrast injection course an asset
Mandatory Competencies
- Experience working in a fast-paced Imaging Department preferred
- Demonstrated educational and professional involvement as well as a commitment to professional development
- Ability to work accurately under stressful conditions, and meet patient care needs
- Ability to work both independently as well as a part of a team
- Demonstrated technical competence and a commitment to quality patient care
- Excellent demonstrated customer service/communication skills
- Willing to work any shift and weekends, and be available to take call if scheduled
- Excellent interpersonal and technical skills
- Reliable individual with excellent attendance record and able to work all shifts
