June is Stroke Month.

Learn the signs and symptoms of a stroke - data shows that the sooner a person suffering from a stroke gets to a hospital and begins treatment, the better their recovery will be.  Minutes Matter.

BCHS Spotlight on Stroke

At BCHS, we are proud of the significant improvements that have been made in our treatment of Stroke.  Our median "door to needle" time has decreased from 87 minutes in 2016/2017 to 42 minutes so far in 2018/2019.  This means approprate patients are getting clot-busting medication sooner.

For more information, download the "BCHS Spotlight on Care" or visit our "Secondary Stroke Clinic Page" page.

Shirley's Story
