The Willett benefits from more than 8,000 volunteer hours each year and provides many educational opportunities for co-op high school students, as well as nursing, physiotherapy and social work students at the college and university level.

The Willett Volunteer Association

Formerly known as The Willett Auxiliary, this organization has existed for 80 years to support the work of the Willett Hospital, its staff and patients. Countless hours of caring and dedicated service by this volunteer organization have enriched the Hospital and the community.

The Association raised money in 2001/2002 through HELLP Lottery; Tag Day; Games Day; Delivery of books, "Sick But Not Scared"; bus trips and the Christmas Bazaar. The Association proudly presented $4,000 to the Tree of Lights. As well they provided gifts at Christmas time for the residents and purchased furniture for the quiet room and a refrigerator for the auditorium kitchen.

There are any number of  volunteer opportunities offered through Volunteer Services at The Willett.
