Brantford General Volunteer Association
The Brantford General Hospital Volunteer Association was established in 1903. The Brantford General Hospital benefits from the efforts of one of the oldest volunteer associations in Canada.
Mission of the BGH Volunteer Association
-To actively support the Mission, Philosophy, Values and Vision of the Brantford General Hospital;
-To supplement service given to patients by professional staff;
-To promote an understanding of the Hospital and its services;
-To raise funds in ways consistent with the fundraising initiatives of the Hospital and the Hospital Foundation;
-To financially aid the Hospital as funds will permit.

Requirements

Student Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older

All volunteers must complete a Health Review before commencing their volunteer role

2 references ( 1 personal, 1 professional ) must be supplied

Volunteers will be provided with an informative orientation to the hospital and specific departmental training before commencing their volunteer duties

Commitment 60 hours
