Your Caregivers

If you have been under the care of a doctor and are planning to deliver your baby in hospital, you will meet your obstetrical nurse when you arrive at the hospital;. If possible, the same nurse will stay with you during your labour and delivery. Studies show that you will benefit in a number of ways by having a nurse who is focused on your care. These partners are there to help you master techniques to make your labour easier. They are also very experienced and know when the birth is progressing normally and how to recognize when something is not going well.
