Mental Health Day Program
"The Day Program has an excellent agenda to help all individuals. By working hard to use the tools provided by the counsellors and the program, people can greatly improve their mental health. I have found the counsellors to be dedicated, capable professionals who try very hard to meet the needs of the individual. It is thanks to them and the existence of the program that I am enjoying life again instead of living in despair, depression and hopelessness." Consumer
Day Treatment
Full Program
A comprehensive five day per week program consisting of therapy groups, teaching groups, recreation and leisure activities designed to enhance people's skills in communication, assertiveness training, problem solving, stress management, anger management, and self esteem.
Short-term follow-up support is available for people completing day treatment.
This is a twelve week program offered free of charge.
Who Is Eligible
Our service is appropriate for residents of Brant County who are sixteen years of age or older and who are seeking assistance for a serious mental health problem. People with a primary concern of criminal involvement, substance abuse or anger management will be asked to seek treatment for those issues prior to day treatment.
Referral Process
Anyone may initiate a referral by completing a referral form. Forms are available at the Brant Community Mental Health Centre E Wing 1 or through this website. Once a referral form is received, you will be contacted by a program worker for a screening interview to determine if our service is the most
appropriate one to meet your needs.
