Besides offering information to the media, staff, physicians and the public, we also provide many other services such as Hospital tours.
The staff of Community Relations and Marketing strive to communicate promptly with the public regarding all the activities of the Brant Community Healthcare System. Family Day - a day presenting the latest pertinent health care information about specific medical issues to the community-at-large. Our latest event, Stake Your Claim, attracted over a thousand visitors, young and old alike who learned about the latest developments in healthcare. The "Discover the Treasures" day held the previous year attracted over 2,500 participants.
Your Health Lecture Series - Expert caregivers from within the Brant Community Healthcare System host a series of lectures on interesting health issues relevant to our community. This is a co-operative venture with The Brantford Expositor that attracts capacity crowds of 350 + for each lecture.
Volunteer Appreciation Dinner - Each year during Volunteer Week members of the BGH Volunteer Association and Willett Volunteer Association attend a Board-sponsored dinner. Complete with entertainment, the night recognizes the efforts and dedication of the hospital volunteers.
Employee Service Awards - Each year, the Boards of the Brant Community Healthcare System sponsor this dinner dance held to honour the staff and their spouses to recognize the commitment of staff to the Hospital System.
Christmas Events - Many activities and events are held throughout December involving many staff and community organizations that ensures patients in the Hospital System can enjoy the special things that accompany the Christmas season.
