RN Qualifications For RPN Qualifications see below
Drawing on strong interpersonal skills and a solid knowledge of hospital and community resources, you will communicate effectively with patients, family members, and health disciplines accessing and coordinating supports and services as needed. A Registered Nurse, you are certified in B.C.L.S., IV Therapy, A.C.L.S., P.A.L.S., and optimally, a current certificate in T.N.C.C. You have at least three years' recent emergency experience that includes five level triage in both adult and paediatric settings. Ideally, you have successfully completed advanced patient assessment, triage, arrhythmia interpretation, and a formal post registered Nurse Emergency Nursing Certificate or Diploma, with a B.Sc.N. preferred. You hold, or are eligible to obtain, membership in E.N.A.O.

RPN Qualifications
- Current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current B.C.L.S. Certificate
- Clinical Competence with excellent patient assessment skill and a commitment to quality patient care
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- Good conflict resolution skills
- Minimum of one year current experience in an Emergency department
- Demonstrate expertise in casting technique a definite asset
- Successful completion or willingness to complete ECG, Spirometry and other required skills
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to organize workload in a fast paced constantly changing environment
- Demonstrate strong computer skills, familiarity with Meditech applications a definite asset.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professionalism in nursing
- Member of professional group
- Mature, reliable individual with excellent attendance record
- Physically capable of performing the full scope of responsibilities
Must have the following skills:
- Medication administration
- Maintainance of IV therapy
- Maintainance of enteral feeds
- Advanced wound management
- Airway management
- I.M. and S.C. injections
OTHER PERTINENT CONDITIONS:
and to be an active member of the Code Teams
Will be required to work all three shifts including flexible and innovative scheduling
