RN Qualifications RPN Qualifications below
- Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Recent experience in complex continuing care/geriatric nursing/ or rehabilitation nursing.
- Current B.C.L.S.
- Rehabilitation/ Gerontology Certificate
- Demonstrated clinical competence and a commitment to quality patient care
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education
- Ability to work as a team member
- Participate and support innovative practice
- Mature, reliable individual
- Excellent attendance record
RPN Qualifications
- Current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current B.C.L.S. Certificate
- Recent experience or certificate in Gerontology/Palliative /Rehabilitation or Medical/Surgical nursing
- Clinical competence and commitment to quality patient care
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- Non-violent crisis intervention certificate preferred
- Good conflict resolution skills
- Excellent patient assessment skills
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professionalism in nursing
- Member of professional group
- Excellent attendance record
- Mature, reliable individual
- Excellent organizational skills
- Physically capable of performing the full scope of responsibilities
Must have the following skills:
- Medication administration
- Maintainance of IV therapy
- Maintainance of enteral feeds
- Advanced wound management
- Airway management
- I.M. and S.C. injections
