Everyday Excellence

Everyday Excellence is intended to recognize employees, volunteers, physicians and Board Members for consistentlysuperior performance of their expected duties.

The nominated individual will receive special recognition as well as be eligible to receve a $250 American Express gift certificate.

Please complete the nomination form in hard copy and deliver to the Human Resources Department at the Brantford General Site personally, by mail or fax at (519 751-5575. Nomination forms can also be completed online through this website. The Nomination Forms can be accessed here.

The President will acknowledge all nominees who meet the specified criteria. Only those who consistently excel in the following areas will be considered for the Everyday Excellence award.

Criteria for Everyday Excellence

•  Team Player - consistently works collaboratively and cooperatively with others, engages in positive conflict resolution when required, communicates effectively, expresses clearly, actively listens

•  Motivated - demonstrates commitment and willingness to complete position responsibilities, consistently maintains a positive attitude, seeks increased responsibilities when able and takes appropriate action

•  Achievement Oriented - sets and achieves goals to improve patient care, self and BCHS environment, demonstrates ongoing commitment to continuous improvement of hospital and department, constantly follows policies and procedures

•  Respectful - continuously treats others with respect, always considers other's abilities and varied religious, ethnic, and socio-economic background in dealing with issues, follows all appropriate channels of communication

•  Integrity Keeper - always takes responsibility for actions, diligently demonstrates tact, diplomacy and ethical behavior, trustworthy and dependable, consistently performs tasks in efficient manner
