Hand Program

Goal
To provide outpatient therapy to individuals who have acute injuries to the hand and wrist or require custom splinting to upper limbs.

Overview
The program provides occupational therapy services for assessment and treatment of upper limb injuries including splinting.

Criteria
Individuals with acute upper extremity injuries, i.e. fractures, tendon, and nerve injuries.

Process
Referral from specialist is required, i.e. plastic surgeon, orthopaedic surgeon, or physiatrist. Fax completed referrals to 519-751-5859.
