About the Hospitalist Program

The Medical Care Team provides care to adults and their families who are residents of Brant County and require medical, surgical, and cardiac care. Nurses, physicians and members of the allied health care team work in partnership with our patients and families to develop a plan of care to promote quality family-centered care.

Visitor Information

The Medical Units are located at the Brantford General site on the 6th and 7th level in B-wing and on the 5th level of C Wing. Visitors are welcome from 12:30 p.m.– 8:00 p.m. each day. If your family requires alternative visiting please speak with the nursing staff to determine if special arrangements can be accommodated.

In an effort to respond to questions, the nurse caring for your loved one will be happy to assist you. When you are calling the unit for information we ask that you designate one member of your family as the contact person to relay information to other family members.
