Our Quality Management Program involves the establishment of a structured system for creating organizational-wide participation in planning and implementing a continuous improvement process to meet and exceed patient, resident and customer needs.

Quality Management is recognized as an integral part in the provision of care to the patient. The responsibility of ensuring the quality of care lies with each individual from every discipline. Each care or support team, department, service and committee builds its strength and direction on the skills of the individuals and is united in a common cause. The cohesiveness facilitates the continuity of quality care, for the present and the future.
The Quality Management Program is established to assess process activities, detect problems, and assist Care and Support teams in their Integrated Health Services Planning (IHSP) activities. The Committees monitor the quality improvement outcomes resulting from the goals and objectives outlined in the team integrated health services plans.
The Quality Management Model is derived from the organization’s Vision, Mission and Priorities. It aligns the goals and objectives at the Governance, Corporate and Care and Support team levels. It takes into account a number of key factors affecting the organization’s ability to provide quality services to its patients, including Risk, Emergency Preparedness Planning, Organizational Health & Safety, Financial, Satisfaction and external reviews such as Accreditation.
